The Geriatric Clinic at Admiralty Medical Centre looks after patients aged ≥ 65 years old whose medical conditions have stabilised to restore fitness and prepare for independence and health in longevity.
Medical management will be finalised into an Individualised Care Plan to support the life stage of older age as part of holistic geriatric care, including health literacy and medication management, exercise, nutrition, avoidance of pitfalls common in old age such as safety in travel and food matters, avoidance of infection, psychological preparation for ageing, managing relationships and individual health priorities.
